The black SH-8 Invader Set from Seymour Duncan are bridge and neck humbucking pickups that offer a unique look and a huge sound that is loud, vicious, and unapologetic. Each pickup's power comes from the combination of specially overwound coils and three large ceramic magnets. The striking oversized metal oxide pole pieces expand the overall magnetic field and widen the frequency response, offering a deeper, rich sound. The SH-8B is capable of generating the thickest, deepest low-end response of any passive pickup. Chords sound almost subsonic at lower tunings, but balance nicely with the crunchy treble, keeping everything defined. The SH-8N sounds creamy and warm, adding depth, and a smooth string-to-string balance. Each pickup features a nickel-silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance.
